There are a lot of interesting things to do for the whole family at the lodge besides fishing, including: swimming, picking blueberries, raspberries and mushrooms, catching frogs, turtles and other critters along the shoreline, boating, and nature photography with lots of migratory birds and wildlife. Some guests just like to jump in the boat and find a smooth rock on the shore and relax in the sun with a good book.
There are also many hiking trails, which will bring you to many back lakes, but the biggest attraction is to hike out to the 30-foot high waterfalls at the top of Outlet Bay.
